So some people know that I play guitar. But nowadays everyone plays guitar. Nothing noteworthy. But guitar isn't just something that I am capable of doing, it is a big part of me and something that I do almost everyday that I am at home. I have gone through semesters of not playing much, and others of playing at least 2 hours every day (while I lived with my g-parents. And they loved it...). I love playing a variety of music (within the rock/metal genre). My favorites to play are Jack Johnson, 311, Metallica, Chevelle, Band of Horses, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Shinedown, Incubus, Alter Bridge, and Audioslave. As for metal music, I am too lazy to learn many of those songs that I like. It is a lot of work and memorization. I'd rather just write my own and play those instead. I shall showcase (showoff) on of these songs. It's my second most technical song. As I was tidying up the riffs, I realized that the notes I were paying were the same notes as a well known song that most guys will know. So I opened with that.
Cheers

ReplyDeleteUm...yes. You're great.
ReplyDeleteP.S. After your first post I realized that I don't know that much about you, Ian. So by all means, tell me more!
SO when is the next post going to be?
